1978 Jeep Wagoneer

Cliff is the Vaughn Family Wagoneer Project – my wife’s dream vehicle. We got this 1978 Jeep a while ago and have been working on it as we can.

Details:

We are currently replacing the original AMC 360 with a Texas Speed built 6.9L GM LS engine and having the TH400 rebuilt. The transmission is being built by Bowler Performance Transmission but in new Chevrolet case. This will allow this to bolt it directly to the modern LS engine but retain the Wagoneer transfer case. The engine will be controlled by a Holley Performance EFI system and cooled by an aluminum radiator built by Wizard Cooling. Stay tuned as we get Cliff back to daily driving duties.
